Thoughts On Genocide

Is there a time limit or order of sequence which you should abide by when expressing your thoughts on genocide? Is it more ideal to be up and arms about Germany killing six million Jews, or the slaughter of a hundred thousand natives in what is now called North America? I was not alive for either instance, but I feel genocide is genocide and there is no justification for something so heinous. I ask the question completely genuinely seeking a response to attempt to grasp the thought process of my fellow humans. I’m not a saint by any means; I feel if in a certain situation I would take a life. Like, for instance, in self-defense, or if someone hurt someone I loved. I definitely have a dark side residing within that would do such a thing. I can admit that, but I can also recognize how deeply demented mass genocide is regardless of who is involved or when the action has taken place. Was it acceptable for Ozymandias (Adrian Alexander Veidt) to kill millions to save billions? I mean, he was a mastermind and pulled it off. Was there a better way? If so, wouldn’t he have thought of it? I ponder with my cold brew in hand and the Twin Peaks soundtrack playing in the background, so many questions.

"CAT TAILS"

Tomorrow will finally be the release of "Cat Tails"! Cat Tails is a three song album I have been working on for quite some time. I am very excited to be done and to be satisfied with how it came out. All three tracks share my love for cats, and you can share in that love as well. The album will cost $3 or $1 for each individual track, that is if you choose to download and support my work. If you just want to listen, that is also an option, so enjoy everyone.

After A Long Day Of Hitting The Coffee Hard...

After a long day of hitting the coffee hard, I like to sit back with a little organic wine. There are many brands that are organic you can find at your local spirits liquors for the same price as the conventional wines. One I often like to kick back with after a long day is Radical Red. You can find this brand by the colorful dancing man on the label, it is quite smooth without the bite that most dry wines have, and it is also great for upbeat music such as Dr. Dog or Phoenix. Another nice smooth organic wine I like to indulge in after a long day is Pacific Redwood, mmm, definitely hits the spot and allows any baggage from the day to just fall away with every sip.

It is funny how in the morning the only thing you can think about (if you are a coffee drinker) is the first steaming cup, with every sip your neurologic system begins to spark as if you are being reborn into a whole new world of possibility. Your thoughts begin to flow like the raging Mississippi and from there on out it fades into a calm satisfaction, till you start looking for the next drug.

That is where wine comes in, the nighttime downer, gently placing you into the relaxed state setting the tone for the night. You get a little goofy, you get a little energetic, and then you get sleepy. Off to bed to begin the process once more upon rising.

The truth is it never loses its appeal, the drugs I mean. I continue the process every single day and enjoy it just as much if not more, every time. Has the human body evolved with these drugs we ingest or is the human condition in a state that is unnatural as we consume chemicals that alter our brain in ways that were never intended by Mother Nature? I may have had a bit to drink, but I ponder and share with you.
